Let's Talk Race: The Latin American Experience
How have history, faith, race, and culture shaped the experiences of Latin American communities?
Our partners at Let’s Talk Race invite you to a meaningful and thought-provoking three-week series exploring the history, challenges, and discrimination that have shaped the Latin American experience.
Across three gatherings, we’ll examine colonization and exploitation in Latin America, explore the emergence and impact of liberation theology, and learn about “The Brown Church” and the distinctive role faith has played in Latin American and Latino communities.
This series is an opportunity to listen, learn, ask questions, and deepen our understanding of stories and experiences that are an important part of our shared history and community.
