Election Day Meditation & Prayer Vigil
Election Day can carry a lot of emotion, uncertainty, and anxiety. On Tuesday, November 3, from 7:30 am–7:30 pm, Arapaho UMC will open our doors to the entire community, offering a quiet place to pause, breathe, pray, and simply be.
Throughout the day, the Sanctuary will be open for prayer and meditation, with candles to light, prayer stations, peaceful music, and space for personal reflection. A labyrinth will also be available in the Fellowship Hall for those who would like to engage in walking prayer or another contemplative practice.
There is no program to attend and no particular time you need to arrive. Come before or after you vote, during your lunch break, or whenever you need a moment of stillness. Stay for a few minutes or as long as you need.
On a day that can feel especially noisy, we hope Arapaho can offer something different: a place of quiet, prayer, and peace.
