Welcome to the AUMC Online Connection Center!
Here you will find our upcoming events, links to register and a few more helpful items.
Whether you come with family, friends, or on your own, volunteering is a meaningful way to meet new people, share the spirit of fall, and support vital mission work.
This first LGBTQ+ Fellowship Group Gathering will serve as both a time of fellowship and a listening session. Think of it as the starting point for an LGBTQ+ fellowship group—an opportunity to shape what’s next by naming what belonging looks like and how we can continue growing as a community.
In response to the recent flood disaster in Central Texas, Arapaho UMC is joining with UMCOR and our regional relief warehouses to provide much-needed supplies. As these warehouses distribute aid, their resources are quickly being depleted—so we’re stepping in to help replenish them.
Each year, Arapaho United Methodist Church honors a member of our congregation whose sustained, faithful service reflects the spirit of generosity, leadership, and dedication that strengthens our church community. The Dick Bourne Service Award celebrates individuals whose quiet commitment and outstanding contributions have made a lasting impact. We invite you to be part of this meaningful tradition by nominating someone you believe exemplifies this spirit of service.
Talking about race isn’t easy, but it is essential. This five-week series, Let’s Talk Race: A Beginner’s Guide to Conversations about Race, offers an accessible introduction to the spiritual, historical, and societal impacts of race in America—and within the church.
Join us on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 12:30–2:00 pm in Room 1 for an informative session with Rebecca McElwain from Texas Impact. Rebecca will provide an overview of the 17 constitutional amendments that will appear on the November ballot, helping us engage with clarity and intention.
The Austin Street team is preparing again to make, deliver and serve food. All of your help is greatly appreciated.
On Saturday, October 25 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, come enjoy a fun night for the family in the AUMC parking lot. Get in costume, bring your own basket and come collect candy from the uniquely decorated trunks. This is free event provided by the Arapaho Families Ministry. So pack up your kids or grandkids and come enjoy a night of fun.
We will not meet the rise of white Christian nationalism with silence or compliance. Now is the time for people of moral courage, spiritual imagination, and radical love to come together. A multiracial, multifaith, intergenerational movement must rise—committed to justice, compassion, and strategic resistance.
As part of our new partnership with Carolyn Bukhair Elementary, Arapaho UMC is committed to supporting the Network’s Mobile Market by providing at least four volunteers each week.
