Journey Toward Racial Justice: Border Experiences
What happens when we move beyond what we’ve heard and encounter the realities of the border for ourselves?
In September, eight pilgrims from our community traveled to the El Paso/Ciudad Juárez border for a week of learning, listening, and encounter. On Sunday, October 18, they’ll share their experience with us.
What did they see? Who did they meet? What surprised or challenged them? How were they changed by the experience, and what might their journey ask of us now?
Join Journey Toward Racial Justice for an afternoon of storytelling, reflection, and conversation as we listen to the experiences of our pilgrims and consider where we might be called next.
Sunday, October 18
12:30–2:00 pm
Room 40
All are welcome to come, listen, learn, and be part of the conversation.
