Explore the Gospel of John Like Never Before
Join a Six-Week Deep Dive with "Reading John for Dear Life"
You’re invited to a rich and thoughtful exploration of the Gospel of John, beginning Monday, September 8 at 7:00 pm (in Adult Classroom 2), facilitated by Amy Smith. This women’s study group will meet weekly and continue for six weeks.
Jamie Clark-Soles’ compelling book, Reading John for Dear Life is more than just a commentary, this book offers a dynamic and accessible companion to the Fourth Gospel. Clark-Soles brings together historical context, literary insight, and deep spiritual reflection—helping us experience the Gospel of John as both sacred text and personal invitation.
Together, we’ll:
– Dive into the dramatic characters, themes, and symbols that make John’s Gospel so distinctive
– Reflect on thoughtfully crafted prayers and questions for personal and group discernment
– Engage in open, curious conversation that welcomes questions, insights, and different perspectives
Whether you’re new to John or returning with fresh eyes, this group is a space to grow in faith, deepen understanding, and encounter Jesus in a transformative way.
