The popular television series, "The Chosen" has created quite a stir as a biblically-based retelling of the Gospel story. The producers have taken artistic license to imagine what life was like for first century followers of Jesus.

The series encourages us to consider that the disciples were ordinary individuals, with families and human challenges. What if one of the disciples was dealing with a family that shunned him? How might one of the disciples have dealt with an anger problem? What if a Roman official befriended one of the disciples?

You're invited to participate in an 8 week gathering to watch and discuss season 3 of this special series, starting Wednesday, April 3 at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. For the first hour each week, we'll share a meal and watch an episode of the series. For the second hour, each table will discuss the episode, the biblical passages on which it is based, and related challenges in our lives.
