Jess Sellers, author of "Stories From Beneath the Trees: Encounters with Nature, Wonder, and the Sacred in the Ordinary" will visit Arapaho UMC for a book launch and celebration of reading, song, and fellowship.

Jess's love of trees and experience of bringing therapeutic music to people in hospitals, nursing facilities, memory care, and hospices. It details moments that lift us from life's shallows into deeper waters, when the scales fall from our eyes and we see "signs and wonders" in the everyday, common things.

On November 15, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, in Room 4, the author and others will read passages from Stories Beneath the Trees and perform several songs featured in the book. Snacks will be served and copies will be available to buy and sign.

Participants are also encouraged to send a digital picture of themselves with a tree, which will be used in a digital slide show, to lowrymanders@yahoo.com.

No RSVP Required. Enter through the North Doors (Sanctuary Entrance) at Arapaho UMC.
