Since 1988, Texas Impact and UWF have collaborated throughout the year to deliver quality policy updates and advocacy training. You are invited to attend this Legislative Event, which will enhance understanding of the legislative process as well as current state issues. Together, we'll learn from state policy makers and experts so that you will have the information you need to speak confidently with lawmakers. With a foundation of faith, the event features frank, friendly conversations between Texans. Sometimes we disagree on the policies, but we always respect each other and agree to keep lines of communication open as we work for solutions that strengthen our communities.

At this 3-day event and training in Austin, we'll participate in two days of speakers and inspiration and one day visiting the Texas Capitol to speak with your House representative or Senator.

This event has had great reviews in the past, and several from Arapaho will attend in 2024. We encourage you to attend in person as you are able, and we can coordinate carpools from Dallas if needed. Cost is $175 for the entire event in person, plus room rates, which can be at the hotel or another location in Austin.
