Saint Art

  • Arapaho United Methodist Church 1400 West Arapaho Road Richardson, TX, 75080 United States (map)

Grief has a way of lingering quietly within us—sometimes too tender to touch, sometimes too heavy to name. But art can open a gentle door. It gives us space to feel, to remember, and to honor the people and stories that have shaped our lives.

On Sunday, October 26 from 5:00-7:00 pm, come make Saint Art. This is a a special evening of creative reflection where we’ll use art to remember loved ones who have died. You’re invited to bring an image of the person, animal, or symbol you’re remembering—something that captures their essence.

During our time together, Britna Savarese of Dallas Death Doula will guide us in exploring how art, grief, and remembrance intertwine. This gathering is both a space for healing and a celebration of love that endures beyond loss.

Those who wish may leave their artwork to be displayed during our All Saints worship service on November 2; pieces will be returned afterward.

Please RSVP so we can prepare enough materials for everyone. This event is bring your own food unless you would like to join in an order for pizza (details in RSVP).
