Volunteer Opportunity: Network’s Mobile Market at Carolyn Bukhair Elementary
As part of our new partnership with Carolyn Bukhair Elementary, Arapaho UMC is committed to supporting the Network’s Mobile Market by providing at least four volunteers each week.
The Mobile Market is a refrigerated vehicle that functions like a small grocery store, bringing fresh and essential groceries directly to families in the community. Volunteers can help in several ways:
Assisting with registration (bilingual question cards provided)
Helping neighbors select groceries
Bagging groceries
Possibly weighing groceries for reporting purposes
We’ll serve on Thursday mornings from 7:00–9:00 am. This is a great opportunity to volunteer once a month, joining a consistent team and making a real difference for families at CBE.
Our goal is to have around 20 volunteers signed up, which allows for 4–5 team members each week, plus a group of individuals available to serve as substitutes as needed.
Sign up for all the weeks you are available and willing to help. This service is a meaningful way to support local families and strengthen our partnership with Carolyn Bukhair Elementary.
