  • Arapaho United Methodist Church 1400 W. Arapaho Road Richardson, TX 75080 (map)

A new partnership with the Dialogue Institute of Dallas is allowing us to experience and celebrate other faith traditions. On May 31 at 7:00 pm we will “break fast” with several of our Muslim neighbors as we observe an iftar meal (the evening meal) together in our Fellowship Hall.

The food is free but we do need you to register.

About the food of Ramadan:
Iftar is the evening meal with which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset.  Muslims break their fast at the time of the call to prayer for the evening prayer. This is their second meal of the day; the daily fast during Ramadan begins immediately after the pre-dawn meal of Suhur and continues during the daylight hours, ending with sunset with the evening meal of Ifthar.
