Black History Month Film: Harriet

As part of our ongoing commitment to racial justice and learning, we invite you to join us for a special Black History Month film screening of the critically acclaimed 2019 movie Harriet on Friday, February 27, 6:30-9:00 pm.

This powerful biopic tells the extraordinary story of Harriet Tubman—who escaped from slavery and courageously returned again and again to lead others to freedom through the Underground Railroad. Her story is one of deep faith, resilience, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to justice.

Following the film, participants will be invited into guided conversation and reflection. Together, we will explore the historical realities of slavery, the complexity of relationships in that era, and the ways faith sustained individuals and communities in the face of unimaginable challenges.

This is a bring-your-own-dinner event. Popcorn and drinks will be provided.

We hope you will join us for this meaningful evening of learning, reflection, and community.
