How can we read the Bible in ways that lead to healing and wholeness?
For many of us, our relationship with the Bible is complicated. Scripture can be a source of wisdom, comfort, and transformation, but we have also seen it interpreted in ways that exclude, shame, and cause harm.
Beginning Monday, October 19 at 7:00 pm, join Brian Brooks and Chris Jackson for a six-week conversation exploring Zach Lambert’s Better Ways to Read the Bible. Together, the group will consider some of the lenses we have been taught to bring to Scripture, how those approaches shape what we find there, and new ways of reading that center the life and teachings of Jesus and lead toward greater healing, wholeness, and abundant life.
Whether you have been reading the Bible your entire life, have struggled with harmful interpretations of Scripture, or are simply curious about approaching familiar texts in new ways, you are invited into the conversation. Questions and curiosity are welcome.
