Racial Justice Symposium: Disparity in Maternal Health

  • Hamilton Park UMC 11881 Schroeder Road Dallas, TX, 75243 United States (map)

There has been plenty of public discussion lately about maternal health and safety in Texas. Maternal and infant mortality rates in Texas have significant disparities. Why do women of color experience a disproportionately high risk of avoidable deaths? Experts will help us understand the reality of this preventable tragedy and the policy and cultural barriers responsible. On Saturday, February 24, let’s come together and discuss how we can advocate for change.

Everyone is welcome at this community event. No membership required. No charge.

LOCATION: Hamilton Park UMC, 11881 Schroeder Rd, Dallas (near I-75 Central Expressway and Forest Ln; across from the DART rail Forest Lane station)
