We are all addicted in some way. When we learn to identify our addiction, embrace our brokenness, and surrender to God, we begin to bring healing to ourselves and our world. In “Breathing Underwater,” Fr. Richard Rohr teaches the use of the 12 step process from Alcoholics Anonymous as a means to understand contemplation and awakening in our own spiritual lives; drawing us into a closer relationship with God. With Advent upon us, you are invited to come and practice expectant waiting and preparation using the first 6 of the 12 step process.
