Community Groups

One of the best ways to find community is to get involved in one of our circles or small groups.  Read about some of our groups below or click the button to search for a group in your area.

socrates circle

Socrates Café are gatherings around the world where people from different backgrounds get together and exchange thoughtful ideas and experiences while embracing the central theme of Socratizing. Email Bob Nelson for more details and meeting times.

AUMC Families

A group of mostly families with children under 8 - We foster a community through mutual support, low-stress get togethers, and thoughtful discussions where we seek to grow our faith and our love.

simplicity circle

Simplicity Circle meets on the first Tuesday of each month, September through May in the Quest Classroom (#5) at the church at 7pm.  Childcare is available.  During June, July and August they meet at a member’s home.

Love circle

Love Circle meets on the second Monday of each month, September through May at6:30pm in a member’s home where a light meal is served and a program is presented.

F4 Fellowship Groups

 F4 (Faith, Food, Friends and Fellowship) is a social gathering where members meet for dinner and discuss a faith topic.  Groups are forming now.

sara's circle

Sarah Circle meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 12 noon, September through May in a member’s home where dessert and coffee are served. During June, July and August the members meet at a local restaurant for lunch.
